Election of the president of the Community

New election took place in the Xixuau Community in March to designate the new president. A different board of directors has been composed to work together and assume the duties, roles and responsibilities of the Community. Elinho has let his place to an exceptional woman Nadia Alves and we wish her the best of luck in her function! The president is not only responsible to the internal effectiveness of the structure but also act as the main representative of the community interests in the dialogue with the authorities and other neighboring communities.
As such Nadia has just returned from an intensive 3 weeks trip in Roraima to register the new board of directors and meet the local authorities.
